Why we spend the first night at Jispa

Kaza is at 3,650 m and Manali at 2,050, and the road between them goes over 4,550 at Kunzum. Drive it in a day and half the bus has a headache by dinner. So we stop at Jispa, at 3,200, and sleep there, and the next morning Kunzum is a photograph instead of a problem. It costs a day. It is the best day on the tour.
